Press Release

For Immediate Release
Friday, 10 October 2008

Manipe F1, in association with Powerlynx Motorsports Management Inc., have
today launched worldwide petition to highlight the disappointment of the
Formula 1 community at the decision to axe the 2009 Canadian Formula One
Grand Prix.

Both parties contend that, with the advent of new, plush race circuits,
backed by governments and billionaires, Formula One is slowly beginning to
lose touch with its roots. The Canadian Grand Prix is the victim of 2009,
but with Grands Prix in Abu Dhabi, South Korea and India all expected to
make their debuts on the calendar in the coming years, it's about time the
voice of the fans was heard.

The Canadian Grand Prix is widely recognised as one of the most enjoyable
Grands Prix on the current Formula One calendar, by teams, drivers, fans and
journalists alike, and its removal came as a shock and surprise to the
entire F1 community. This petition, which can be viewed and signed at
http://www.manipef1.com/petition, will aim to remind the sport's
powerbrokers that expanding its borders should not be done at the expense of
exciting or historically significant circuits. The annual Canadian Grand
Prix at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal produces exciting racing year
after year, but in spite of this Formula One executives are happy to travel
to new tracks without considering the view of the paying customer.

Based in Cork, Ireland, Manipe F1 is a website dedicated to Formula One
launched in 2004 with the aim of informing readers about all aspects of
Formula One for free. Based in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, Powerlynx
Motorsports Management, Inc. is a motorsports consulting company whose
services entail corporate sponsorships and technical partnerships for
various formulas, its participants, and motor racing governing bodies, as
well as driver management, and consultation or advisement related to team
and sports marketing.

It's hoped that enough signatures will be collected through the petition to
strongly urge the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) and
Formula One Management (FOM) to reconsider the removal of the Canadian Grand
Prix, and to refrain from taking similar decisions in the future.
